Valle di Ledro is the outdoor holiday destination par excellence, thanks to the number of MTB trails, among them Tremalzo and Passo Trat, the extensive network of hiking trails and the guided hiking program “Escursioni Natura”, streams where you can go canyoning, take off and landing points for paragliding, rock climbing areas, and much more. All surrounded by green woods and the mountains that ring the blue of Lake Ledro, one of the purest, most uncontaminated bodies of water in Trentino. After all this sport, be sure to have a cool dip in Lake Ledro and relax on one of the fully equipped beaches where you can also hire windsurf boards, sail boats and pedalos. Part of Pur beach is even accessible to dogs. A complete holiday, thanks also the hospitality o f the bike friendly accommodation, the good food and the several events.
After a long but pleasant climb Belvedere di Droma is reached. From this spot you will have a splendid view over Lake Ledro and to the surrounding mountains, which reach from the Monte Baldo to the Adamello Group of Mountains. Many trenches of World War I start here. They are partly accessible by foot up to Cima dOro.
A trail of incomparable beauty audaciously cut into the side of Monte Rocchetta and inaugurated in 1851 to join Riva del Garda, Pregasina and Ledro Valley. Along the route, in the mountain, there are Austrian fortifications, among which the most famous is the Tagliata del Ponale.
